24 Nov 09 Sony VAIO UX upgraded, a lot

The Sony Vaio UX first made its debut back in 2006 but failed to really catch on due to the device’s small niche and high price point. However, that hasn’t stopped modders from working continously upgrading the UX into the end-all-be-all device.

What you see above is the creation of some Micro PC Talk forums’ users who replaced the device’s 1.2GHz processor with a 1.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, added a 3G modem with voice capabilities and a new wireless card that supports 802.11 a/b/g/n.

But they didn’t stop there as they also installed separate partitions for Windows XP Pro, Vista Business, 7 Ultimate and Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.7.
