HTC HD2 on its way to T-Mobile

A few days ago we let you know that the HTC HD2 would be available unlocked in the UK for around $740. Well, not only is that a steep price but it gives us no hint to North American availability.

However, the above image has hit the web that lets us know that the HD2 is on its way to T-Mobile with its 4.3-inch touch screen and Snapdragon processor.

Is this image to be believed?

For some reason Radio Shack is going through some rebranding process. The company shall not be known as Radio Shack anymore. Instead we’ll have to call it The Shack. Well actually Radio Shack will not change its name but only the brand image. But everyone that already got used to going to Radio Shack stores for various gadgets will keep calling it Radio Shack long after the brand change. What’s next? Could Best Buy be called The Buy? Or Circuit City, The City?

  • Yesterday we gave you a glimpse at a render of Motorola’s Android powered Shules but today we actually have a live shot of the device, pictured above.

It’s a bit blurry but from what you can make out you’ll notice that the phone looks a bit rough around the edges and that’s because it is a pre-production model so expect a lot to change before it hits any carriers. Spec wise, we’re still lookin’ at a 3.7-inch screen, QWERTY keyboard, 5MP camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.

If you’re looking to connect your computer to the internet while on the go but don’t want to pay the ridiculous prices some providers are charging you should check out Virgin Mobile’s offering. Included above is a leaked picture of Virgin Mobile’s forthcoming broadband USB modem that were found on one of Best Buy’s image servers.

Of course, there are no official announcements to go along with the above leaked shots but thanks to The Boy Genius Report we know that the device will cost you $150 couple with either a prepaid or postpaid package.

No word on when you’ll be able to pick this up or how the coverage will be but as always we’ll keep you posted.

There’s a lot of talk about the Pre this days and AT&T seems busy with lots of other handsets but for the iPhone. Nonetheless, new iPhone news manage to squeeze by. Take this bad quality image right here for example. The latest beta of the iPhone SDK has icons in it which show the new phone in all its splendor. The image above shows the iPhone 2,1 which is of course the phone we’re waiting for Apple to launch. In case it looks awfully familiar that’s because the phone there is the iPhone 3G. Are we to understand that Apple hasn’t redesigned the phone? Or is it hiding it?
