Lenovo has added another unit to the IdeaPad U Series, the U330. The 13.3-inch notebook is suppose to ship with Windows Vista Home Premium as the operative system, and the price starts at $1,200 but can go up depending on the configuration. For example, if you pick the best warranty system that includes accidental damage during 3 years, just add $260 to the total.
The IdeaPad U330 weights approximately 1,8Kg, and the battery life changes if you use the graphics chip or the dedicated GPU. In the latter case the battery lasts 5 hours and a half, while in the first case the total is for 3 hours and a half.
On the performance section, this Lenovo sports an Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 running at 2GHz, and the RAM memory can either be 2GB or 3GB of DDR3. The storage capacity on the hard-drive has a limit of 320GB, and the resolution is 1280×800 pixels.
One of the interesting details is that you can switch the graphic units: either GMA 4500MHD, or an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450.

That’s right fox you heard me right. If you are from the USA and you have been waiting for the LenovoIdeaPad U110 than wait time is over. 29th of April (tomorrow) is the day you can actually order it. This 11 inch laptop is priced at $1,899, which is a little high I must admit, but nonetheless a good deal for the fans. Or should they get the Macbook Air?
What you get for that price is at least (Lenovo hasn’t announced all the specs yet):
a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo L7500 processor,
a 3GB of RAM,
a 120GB hard drive,
an 11 inch WXGA display,
a weight of 2.3lbs,
a 0.7 inch thickness.
What you don’t get with the U110 is an optical drive. We don’t do need those drives so won’t we’ll have to buy the external versions.
