i-mate 810-F Rugged Smartphone?


The phone in the picture here is a Windows Mobile rugged phone, the i-mate 810-F which will be released at this year’s MWC 2009. The 810-F might not be the smartphone you were looking for but it will certainly be a very reliable phone. Here are the main features of the i-mate-810-F.

i-mate will probably release pricing details and arrival dates next week as it’s the only phone to be released by the company in Spain.

i-mate Ultimate 9502 and 8502

Ultimate%209502a.JPGi-mate has unveiled the latest addition to its Ultimate range of products — the Ultimate 9502 and the Ultimate 8502. i-mate is a famous brand for Windows Mobile-powered devices. The Ultimate 9502 is the new flagship model of the series with 3.5G connectivity and HSUPA/HDPA support, and 2.8-inch VGA screen. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional, with integrated GPA and a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a camera, and a microSD card slot. Another pic of the 9502 after the jump.

The Ultimate 8502, on the other hand, has 2.6-in touch screen display, and a sliding slim-line QWERTY keyboard. It also runs on Windows Mobile 6.0, with integrated GPS and full-loaded with Microsoft Office Mobile. It’s also equipped with Windows Media Player 10 Mobile media player, for video and audio playbacks.

  • i-mate 201 Jama Phone Announced

    Smartphone specialist i-mate has announced its new JAMA smartphone 201. It comes in with a Windows Mobile 6 Standard operating system and sports a linear 2.5-inch LCD screen. The 201 features Bluetooth and a two-megapixel autofocus camera with flash. 128MB of ROM can be supplemented by microSD cards. Limitations comes mainly in the form of a 300MHz Samsung processor, and the lack of Wi-Fi or UMTS, instead having just tri-band GSM/EDGE. Talk time is four hours with a standby of slightly more than six days.

    Control is handled through a QWERTY keyboard. Prices and regions have yet to be published for either JAMA.
