Hulu and Sling Media are interested in providing streaming TV services to the iPhone in the USA and Orange and Vodafone are thinking similar thoughts in Europe. And particularly in France and Portugal. Orange France and Vodafone Portugal will both offer TV on the Go services to theri consumers.
“TV from Orange” is available for either a monthly plan or a pay-as-you-go deal. No less than 60 different TV channels will be available to iPhone owners. In Portugal “Vodafone Mobile TV” is a free application in the App Store and it will come with features like Fast Channel Switching which should offer you a TV-like experience.
The two carriers will probably launch similar services in other markets soon so get ready for them. How much would you be willing to pay for the service?

With the new iPhone coming shortly, it’s no wonder that everyone is trying to get an application accepted in the App Store. Hulu is one of them. Its new application will be ready in a few months and it will be streaming content to your iPhone via 3G or WiFi, whichever is available. Will AT&T allow the app or will it try to veto it just like it wants to do with the SlingPlayer application? Users should be really excited to watch TV with any of these two applications while they’re on the go. The only thing to do now is to wait to see if Apple is going to approve Hulu or the SlingPlayer.
