The ongoing partnership between Sprint and Best Buy now brings us a 99-cent HP Mini 110c netbook with the signing of a 2-year data contract.
However, as Engadget points out, for the $1,440 you’ll be paying over 2 years all you will be getting is a single 1.6GHz machine with 1GB of RAM and a 3-cell battery. Worth it? Probably not. Will unknowing consumers buy it? Of course.
As for me? I think I’ll be opting for Virgin’s pay-as-you-go USB broadband modem.
