The timing of the release of this app couldn’t have come at a better time! Cyoshi Games has announced the availability of the Scary App – The iPhone Prank which pretends to be a skills test where users will have to navigate a silver marble through a wooden maze by tilting their iPhone or the iPod Touch. Now you don’t have to finish the game. Hand the game over to another person you want to play the prank on and sucker them into believing you cannot finish all the three levels.

Once the one playing is at level 3, a grotesque screaming face will turn up in the middle of the level which is bound to scare the lights off that person. A harmless prank that is fit for the Halloween season! The Scary App: The iPhone Prank (iLabyrinth)-Screamer is available at the iTunes app store for $0.99.

But thanks to Sprint, Michigan and Indiana folks can keep track of where there little ones are going with the Family Locator service that costs only $5 a month to use. This special service was made possible by GPS technology with real-time satellites that allow parents to know specifically where their kids are via mobile phone or a computer. It is password protected thus limiting access to authorized users only.

I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t wear such a working Apple iPhone costume. Not only is it way too big to carry around the party but you might also break it. Not to mention that it shows everything your iPhone does. And what happens if someone decides to steal the extra large iPhones?

The Halloween Day is approaching fast, it is on October 31 in case you don’t know. With that in mind, AT&T decided to create a small list of tips with two purposes: help the “trick-or-treat” scenarios become more safe, and also convince people to use phones wisely.

In addition to the list of tips, AT&T is making the Halolloween day more complete by hosting a Child Safety Event + Costume Party, on November 1st, at their Experience Store in NY.

The iPhone is ready to rock your Halloween evening. Or should I better say that the iPhone Jack-O-Lantern is. There’s an application called Crazy Pumpkin which will let you customize your iPhone. Just be careful what you do with it. It might get you a treat, but it could get you some tricks. Check out the video above and go get the application if it seems cool enough for you!
