Here comes a unique and different type of a game, something that may be of interest to novice hackers wannabe out there. The game calls for a user to try and hack a network of computers using arsenals that include viruses or bounce your connection through hacked servers to avoid being caught. In short, it is similar to any strategy game only that the setting is perhaps a hacker’s haven.
“Hacker Evolution is the first step from a series of innovative and unique games that we are designing and bringing to the iPhone and iPod devices.” said Robert Muresan, Founder and CEO of Exosyphen Studios.
Hacker Evolution is available at the Apple App Store for only $0.99.

Who knew that a Nokia 1100 could become one of the most expensive entry-level phones ever to be sold? Nokia has sold millions and millions of the 1100 but its time is long gone. The phone however is in fashion for some hackers and that’s why it became one of the most expensive phones these days. The 1100 was priced at well over €25,000. It seems that certain Nokia 1100s have a software flaw which lets you program them in a certain way to intercept one-time passwords which are used for online bank transactions. In case you have a 1100 phone you shouldn’t think about selling it to anyone offering more than a buck for it. The other reason is that only specific phones made in a German Nokia plant have the software flaw so your phone might not even qualify.

Since this is a blog about mobile phones in general, then I’m sure everyone will appreciate the warning - mobile phones are vulnerable to hacking attacks. In a study at Georgia Tech, researchers’ report identified botnets as a significant threat to mobile phone users. he nefarious zombie nets are typically utilized to carry out denial of service attacks and shut down servers with an overwhelming wave of traffic.
Patrick Traynor, an assistant professor of computer science at Georgia Tech and a contributor to its Emerging Cyber Threats report said that This is the perfect platform for hackers. So far, not much effort has been done to secure mobile devices. In addition, antivirus software, while effective, would rapidly drain massive amounts of battery life.
