Do you remember when HTC announced that their sleek new user interface dubbed Sense would only be made available for phones without the “with Google” branding? Well it looks like some Italian hackers weren’t pleased with this and decided to take maters into their own hands.
Featured in the above video is a T-Mobile G1 running HTC’s Sense UI and from the looks of it is relatively smooth. Other than Sense’s obvious graphic enhancements this hack will actually enable the G1’s multitouch, a feature that was not enabled out of the box.
Ths hack came about by the Italian group of hackers flashing their G1 with what they are calling the SuperHERO ROM.

If you’re interested in getting your app working on the Palm Pre then that’s apparently really easy right now. There’s a loophole in the OS which will let unsigned apps to be run on the phone. Your custom software is now available for your Pre without having to rooting the phone in order to install it.
You should take advantage of this as soon as possible as Palm will definitely fix this error in a future firmware update. And by taking advantage we don’t advise you to conceive and evil apps and then make them available for anyone to download. You should develop apps like this tip calculator right here! Simple, safe, easy to use. At least until the Palm store gets more apps that’s the best alternative to get some apps to your favorite smartphone.

If you want to tether your iPhone without jailbreaking then that’s also possible. Not exactly legal, but probably better than jailbreaking your handset.
First off you need to upgrade the OS to version 3.0 and then you will be able to start tethering in almost no time. This solution is said to work in any country, regardless of what carrier you’re working with. What you have to do is go to a certain site from your iPhone, help.benm.at, then download a file which will reconfigure your local carrier profile and the tether your phone as if you already have that option available.
The downsize of this procedure seems to be that it might disable MMS and/or voicemail. And it might also be detected by your favorite carrier, in which case you should expect some sort of slap on the wrist. Now that you’ve been warned, go ahead and do what you will to your iPhone!

Earlier today we notified you that T-Mobile had been hacked and customer data was taken from the provider’s network. Well, T-Mobile has again stepped in to elaborate on the situation calming customers down another notch:
The document in question has been determined to be a T-Mobile document though there is no customer information contained in the document. There is no evidence to indicate that the T-Mobile security system was hacked into nor any evidence of a breach.
Despite this rep saying the system wasn’t hacked or breached, the hackers still managed to get some data from the T-Mobile network so how exactly they got it we haven’t a clue.
Let’s see how this one unfolds.
