Mio Technology has announced a new GPS navigation system entitled Mio Hammer V700. The device will become available tomorrow, on 12 of November and as you can see by the image it has a huge mount.
The Mio V700 comes with a 7-inch display screen and a resolution of 800×480 pixels, with 16:9 as the aspect ratio. One of the positive points besides the good looking black frame, is its tickness - only 16mm. Like many other GPS systems, the V700 can playback audio and video.
The Mio Hammer V700 will become available in two versions: 4GB for $285, and 12GB for $310.

MEDION has released a new GPS system on the GoPal series, which is codenamed P4445. On the technical side of the P4445 we’ve got a big and unusual 4.7-inch display screen, a Samsung 400 MHz processor, maps of Europe updated as of q$ of 2008, a Traffic Message Channel receiver, and 2GB of internal memory. The normal features include text-to-speech function, a mp3 player, fingerprint sensor, and bluetooth connectivity.
The most positive point of the MEDION GoPal P4445 that makes it stand out from the rest of the GPS systems on the market is the voice command capability. In other words, you can easily speak an address, raise the volume, or do other function just by using your voice.

Motorola unveils another rugged handheld device catered to serve the business and industrial sector, the Motorola MC950. As more businesses today are going mobile, the MC950 carries a whole bunch of features that include 3.5G WAN capabilities, a unique accessory system and better battery management.
The Motorola MC950 is equipped with the Marvell XScale PXA320@806 MHz processor and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system and an enterprise-class GPS system that promises to cover various environmental conditions. It also carries a 3 megapixel auto-focus high resolution digital camera for capturing and scanning important images and documents as required.
The Motorola MC950 will be made available worldwide through Motorola partners and sales groups.

Koreans now have yet another option to choose from if they are in the market for an in-car navigation unit. Landing in the low-end category of Thinkware’s 3D navigation devices, the iNAVI K3 provides all pertinent information in a 3D environment on its big 7-inch WVGA display at 800×480 resolution. The screen can also turn into a portable TV as the iNAVI K3 has DMB receiver onboard or function as a video player for videos loaded on to a SDHC memory card of up to 8GB in size. A SirF V6 chip boosts its navigation capabilities and it is aided by InstantFixII reducing the amount of time needed to lock on to satellites. Also included are an mp3 player, a car diary, and a game for the kids on their ride to school.
No information on a release date yet but, as with most other Korean devices, this will be a South Korea only affair going for a price of 399,000 KRW (about $300).
