We have no information about Acer’s first smartphone and MWC is two weeks away. However, according to this leaked image of it, the Acer handset will resemble very much to the Glofiish DX900 from E-Ten. Acer owns E-Ten so it makes perfect sense for them to take some of the existing technology. But did Acer copy everything? The DX900 had GPS, dual-SIM support, a 3 megapixel camera, a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen and Windows Mobile 6.1 OS to make everything possible. Will Acer take everything?
On the other hand this might be just a photoshopped image and the real thing is coming to the MWC.

We told you about the V900 before, but this is the first time the Glofiish M810 has been mentioned. E-TEN has just officially announced the Glofiish models V900 and M810. The Glofiish V900 is a pocket PC phone with mobile TV. It supports all DVB-H, DVB-T, TDMB and DAB broadcasting standards. The E-ten Glofiish X650 phone has just been approved by the FCC. A Pocket PC phone featuring a 500MHz Samsung SC3 processor, the X650 is equipped with a 2 MPx camera and on-board FM transmitter - quite useful when you want to play the audio on your car stereo, for example. At 139 grams, it’s not the lightest phone around but is pretty thin at 14.7mm.
The Glofiish features a VGA resolution screen. No word on the pricing yet.

It reportedly features T-DMB and DVB-H, digital radio standard DAB and terrestrial TV standard, DVB-T. It has 128MB RAM and runs on Samsung 667MHz processor. As of current, these are the only known specs of the V900 and if the flyer is to be based upon, it will come, perhaps initially, in black and blue.

Remember the E-TEN Glofiish X800 cell phone which was showcased at CeBIT 2007? Yes, the same phone that boasts high speed HSDPA/WCDMA connectivity and runs Windows Mobile 6. Well, the FCC has blessed this feature-packed phone meaning it will now make its way into the hands of the consumers. The Glofiish phone can also access VoIP and video calling.
The Glofiish X800 packaging includes a stylus, battery, USB cable and AC adapter apart from the mandatory user guide and CD. The X800 has LED indicators for Bluetooth, WLAN and GPS so you can quickly see what’s turned on. It also features a speakerphone. For expanded memory, the X800 offers a microSD memory card slot. The phone comes with tons of bundled software including Internet Explorer, Windows Live Messenger, File Explorer and Windows Media Player.
There’s also a useful Transcriber function on the phone that lets you write anywhere on the screen using the stylus. Once you write your sentence, it will automatically change them into typed characters. The integrated GPS on the X800 is another convenient function. Combine this with the Location SMS function to immediately update chosen contacts with your current location.
