Very late last month, an advertisement leak notified us of the impending release of the LG Glimmer exclusively for Alltel. Merely a couple of weeks later, Alltel is releasing the Glimmer tomorrow, March 13, 2008. The LG Glimmer is a touch-screen slider phone with a 2-megapixel camera, MP3 player, 128 internal memory, expandable microSD card slot, graphics support, and GPS capability. It comes loaded with various Alltel features such as Axcess Search, Axcess TV, Axcess Search, Axcess Voice2TXT, and Alltel Navigation. The LG Glimmer costs US$249.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate.

A leaked advertisement shows us a delicious glimpse of the new LG Glimmer to be released by Alltel. The LG Glimmer advert leak comes, of course, with specs leak, which makes it all the more savory. The new LG Glimmer comes with a 2.8-inch touch display with haptic feedback for inputs, a 2-megapixel camera with 5x zoom, a numeric keypad slider, microSD card slot, 128MB built-in memory, 3.5 hours of talk time, Bluetooth 1.2 connectivity, and EVDO.
