Looking for a Wii for Christmas

Bad news for all of you out there craving for a Wii! Gamestop’s CFO David Carlson declared that the Wii is in ”very good supply” at the time being, but that it’s probably not going to be next month. I guess, if you want to get yourself a Nintendo Wii go get it while it’s there! Same case scenario with ”Wii Fits” or the ”Guitar Hero”.

So run to the first store, get your copy and hide it in the closet until Santa comes! Or make sure Santa knows he has to buy the console for you right about now!

The Pack includes three months of free Live Gold access, a wired headset and a 60GB hard drive. We’d like to confirm the rumor sometime next week, so Microsoft please make our wish come true! On second opinion, you can always cut some more of that price if you want!

Sony PSP 2 Concept Looks Promising

What would we do without concept products? They are the expression of our dreams. Such an example is the Sony PSP 2 concept. Designed by Tai Chiem, the PSP in the picture proposes a flexible OLED display which can be rolled away when not used. An electric charge which powers the display will stiffen it whenever we do use it. There are stereo speakers on both sides, a jog wheel and a camera control. Well then this I would buy. I do not PSP 2 but I would if this was an actual product. Or what if we turn it into a phone? Or a touchscreen netbook?

Nintendo has a new DS Lite console for you. It comes in white and it has a Pink Ribbon model on the front cover. The ribbon is the symbol of support for the breast cancer awareness and research causes. For each purchase of the new DS Lite Nintendo will donate $5 to the Susan G Komen for the Cure cancer charity. Nintendo has promised at guaranteed $100,000 but the total donated amount will surely exceed that amount.

Considering that in Japan alone it’s estimated that 50,000 DS Lite are sold each week, Nintendo should donate quite a big sum.

FCC Leaks the New PSP-3001

Thanks to the FCC we get all sorts of leaks. This time it isn’t a phone but a gaming console. The PSP-3001 has arrived at the FCC.

People said the PSP-3001 will get GPS, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth and a microphone but none of those have been spotted in the FCC report. And although we’ve heard about a rumored PSP phone in the past, this isn’t a phone either. It’s just a simple game console taken to the next level.

Our guests today are Sony Ericsson and Zeemote. You know of course what Sony Ericsson does for a living, but you might not recognize Zeemote. Zeemote is a manufacturer of wireless controllers for mobile devices. Therefore the two companies signed a partnership to bring near-console game play to Sony Ericsson’s W760i. Sony Ericsson is going to launch Zeemote JS1 controller with Bluetooth technology in an exclusive promotion in Netherlands.

With Apple’s iPhone redefining wireless gaming, it’s no surprise Sony Ericsson wants to stay in the gaming game. From August 8th to October 31st, if you happen to be in the Netherlands you will get the Zeemote JS1 controller for free with any purchase of the W760i Walkman via a mail-in voucher promotion. The W760i comes bundled with two Zeemote Ready games with fourteen waiting to be downloaded.

The Zeemote JS1 controller will have a thumbstick and four buttons which are customizable. After connecting via Bluetooth, the JS1 will certainly improve gaming experience. I’d certainly want a piece of that action. It could be really fun.
