Samsung G400 Now Available in UAE

The Samsung G400 is now available in the UAE following its official launch. This phone inherits the look and feel of Samsung’s flagship product Soul with unique premium exterior and graphical user interface design identity. It offers a new series of graphic user interfaces (GUI) providing three different options for users. With the GUI skin, users can change the UI according to their personal tastes.

In addition to an internal 2.22 TFT LCD display, Samsung’s G400 has a 2.22′ external full touch screen display. With the external full touch display, users can operate multimedia features without opening the folder and haptic vibration feedback is given when user uses full touch screen.

Samsung G400 is also equipped with the latest imaging solutions including a 5 mega pixel camera. G400 owners can also enjoy fast Internet access through the 7.2 Mbps High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) browser and share images or video taken with the phone.

    dmedia has presented a new MID - Mobile Internet Device - entitled G400. Sadly there aren’t many exact details yet because the device hasn’t been officially presented, so we’ll have to wait for CES 2009 for full details, but in the meanwhile here are some features of the dmedia G400: available in a small 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen version, or on a bigger one at 4.3-inches; wireless options include WiFi, HSDPA and Bluetooth; and for navigation there is GPS.

    Optional features include DVB-T/H, ISDB-T, or a Terristrial-Digital Mobile Broadcasting tuner to watch TV on the go. On the other hand, the dmedia g400 certain features include a 1400mAh battery, a slot for microSD memory cards, and using 3D graphics acceleration.

    Samsung G400 is a Clamshell Soul

    At CeBIT 2008, Samsung has launched the clamshell version of the Samsung Soul called the G400. This handset was was first made known to the public last February, and was surmised to be among the phones Samsung will showcase during the Mobile World Congress. Samsung G400’s selling point is its dual touch screen feature. By dual touch screen, it means the G400 has one 2.22-inch TFT LCD display, and one 2.2-inch external touch screen display. The external screen is used to access the phone’s multimedia capabilities without the need to use the main internal display. Other features include a 5 megapixel camera, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA capability, and multi-media player with FM radio. Samsung G400 is equipped with three different graphic user interfaces or GUIs from which the users can choose. The clamshell phone will be available starting June 2008 to select European countries.
