All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

From what we know so far, the HTC Magic is the G2 and Huawei Android phone will be the G3 when it comes to T-Mobile USA Android phones. But is it really so? Check out the pictures for yourself!

It seems that the G2 will be in fact the G3 or the myTouch 3G with Google or the Genius 3G with Google or the Prism 3G with Google. So what’s the matter with the G2? What phone will get the G2 moniker? And what about that Huawei device? Will it be the G4 or how does it all works? Does anyone from T-Mobile care to explain?

Huawei has shown everyone its first Android device at the MWC without mentioning a lot of important details. So far we know the handset will sport a 5 megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack and WiFi and a large touchscreen. The phone should arrive in late 2009 and T-Mobile might be the carrier to sell it in the USA and maybe in other markets too. That’s all confirmed by a Huawei spokesman but we’re still waiting for the official press release. The phone is rumored to be called the G3 once T-Mobile gets it but that’s still long from being absolutely accurate.

G2 Pictured Already, G3 to Follow

Is Android and T-Mobile going to pair up for good? We’ve just seen the specs of what people claim to be a G2 handset and now we have a picture of it. As you can see it is an HTC device with no keyboard and a full touchscreen. The launch date has been pushed back to April due to software issues and it looks like at least one more company is going to have the same Android phone launched under a different name.

After the G2, a G3 handset is supposed to follow but there are no details about it at this time. We’ll keep you posted since it seems these are the hot rumors of this last weekend before Christmas.
