For the people who idolize Spiderman or Superman, her e is a new game from HiB that may catch your fancy. Rope ‘n’ Fly Lite for the iPhone is a simple game where you just have to “sling” yourself from one building to another. Basically, it is all about landing properly on the building at the precise moment for about 30 seconds.

It all starts when a superhero clad figure will drop down from the skies and your only task is to make sure he goes from one building to another without falling to the ground. Sounds pretty basic doesn’t it? Well for games like these, it is entertaining. However, timing and groove are likewise essential. One small miscalculation will mean the end of the game. And do remember, you are going to have to be consistent for 30 seconds!

One cannot foretell when their iPhone or iPod would need repairs and the next thing an owner would have to do is look for a reliable service center to fix it. But the problem is while there are many centers offering such a service, scams are rampant.

Can you imagine the money they can make by accepting, running off and selling an iPod or iPhone in numbers? That would cost a fortune and a great means of illegal revenue if you entrust your device to the wrong hands.

There are a lot of scams concerning this issue. But there is one repair site that aims to solicit the confidence of iPod owners to avoid the false pretention of fly-by-night pretenders. Ipodjuice.com announces a couple of announcements to ease these scam worries to help safeguard you iPod or iPhone when they need repairs.

  • First, the shop created a new page on their site giving information on the history and make-up of the business in order to ease ipodjuice scam concerns.
  • Secondly, while it has always been simple to get in touch with somebody at the site ipodjuice.com via email or phone, it is now possible to speak directly with the iPod repair owner at the drop of a hat.
  • Third, since the business has a physical store for taking care of walk-in customers, customers can now request to tour the actual location where orders are filled and devices are worked on. You can now actually view their receiving area, customer service department, shipping office, and even the technicians’ repair and testing shop. This offer is only for potential and current customers, and is not offered to competing businesses hoping to score some pointers.

“There are several real-deal iPod repair shops out there, and ipodjuice.com is proud to be among them.”, added Magnabosco. “We are confident that, with these assurances, on top of our already trusted name and reputation, ipodjuice scam worries will dissipate, since they are simply unwarranted to begin with.”

Tweetglobe for iPhones Released

The iPhone has a new app available and it involves keeping track of your tweets with reference to the new web sensation Twitter. Normally, people only get to see the person and the message but have no idea where in the world it comes from.

With Tweetglobe, you can trace them as far as the point of origin of the Tweet, using a 3D animated globe rendered on the screen of any iPhone or iPod Touch.TweetGlobe also acts as a fast and simple Twitter client that allows anyone to reply to incoming tweets or post new ones on-the-fly, as well as view the Twitter public timeline.

Optionally, TweetGlobe can also determine any user’s specific location using GPS. Posting an update through TweetGlobe will use the iPhone’s built in GPS to determine exactly where any user is tweeting from.

Now that should be very helpful for businesses and people who want to know where strange tweets are coming from. The app can be purchased from the Apple app store for $0.99.

Kingston has announced the release of its latest USB Flash Drive, the DataTraveler which incidentally is compatible with the Apple Mac operating systems ((OSX 10.4x – 10.5x).

“Our DataTraveler Vault – Privacy Edition has been popular with enterprise and government customers who use Windows-based systems and are looking for a safe and secure way to transport portable data,” said Mark Akoubian, Flash memory business manager, Kingston. “We are happy to add Mac support to this 100-percent secured drive so the Apple community can be assured they have an on-the-go storage solution that is the best on the market at safeguarding data.”

Data onboard the DTVP is secured by hardware-based, on-the-fly, 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The drive has fast data transfer rates and is protected from brute-force attacks by locking down after 10 unsuccessful login attempts. After lockdown, a reformat is necessary to make the Flash drive operable again.

  • Cellphones branded with the Fly trademark aren’t very popular, but the E120 has good specifications that can make it famous. To start with, the monoblock design is a good choice, making it compact and easy to use for everyone.

Secondly, it only has a weight of 85 grams, and small dimensions of 106,9 x 44, 9 x 10, 5 mm - which makes the word portable really stand out. The TFT screen features a resolution of 240×320 pixels and displays more than 262k colors.

On the multimedia section the Fly E120 comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera, that can record videos in MPEG4 or 3GP. The supported formats for ringtones include MP3, WAV, AAC+, MIDI and a few more.
