The notable luxury gadgets brand Gresso Design that provides the pricy cell phone models wrapped in rare wood materials, has released a new collection of Flash storage USB drives furnished with a fingerprint scanner to admit access to only the appropriate user.
The Pandora collection adds a storage capacity for your media files of up to 64GB. The black model is constructed of 200-year old African Blackwood and adorned with 18K gold. The stone is a white diamond, while the blue LED light beneath adds a stylish accent. The red version does not have a diamond but a ruby instead. The black Flash USB storage drive sells for $10,000, while the red one at $1000.

The rugged market just got another device in its fold as Handheld Europe has announced the all-new Nautiz X5 Rugged PDA at CeBit in Hannover. The full-featured PDA comes with an impressive 806 Mhz processor and an array of advanced features such as integrated 3 mega-pixel camera with autofocus capabilities, integrated barcode scanner, WLAN, Bluetooth, 3G cellular capabilities, and GPS with InstantFix II. The Nautiz X5 weighs only 410 grams, is IP65 rated and can also handle extreme temperatures and multiple drops from 1.8 m.
The Nautiz X5 comes standard with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB built-in Flash storage. The long-life 4400 MAh Li-ion battery provides more than all day performance, is rechargeable and hot-swappable. The Nautiz X5 also has a microSD slot for memory expansion. The transflective full VGA color display and touch screen provide sharp and clear resolution even while working outdoors.
The integrated 3 mega-pixel camera comes with autofocus capabilities and LED Flash - a combination not usually seen in this type of device. And the integrated SiRF star III GPS chip with InstantFix II provides near instantaneous position computation for navigation or gathering location-based information. The integrated high quality laser scanner reads all common barcodes and a 2-D imager is available as an option.

Getac Inc. has unveiled its latest product aimed at rugged computing needs. The GETAC PS535F handheld is the company’s next generation, fully rugged GPS-enabled PDA featuring a built-in 3 megapixel auto-focus camera, altimeter and E-compass. These new features will enable field-based employees to capture field data on-site and transmit that data back to headquarters in real-time.
In addition, the PS535F will provide pinpoint navigation support for improved location-based productivity, which is critical with search-and-rescue missions.
The PS535F handheld PDA is perfectly suited for GIS surveying applications across different sectors including utilities, oil and gas, forest patrol, and surveying and mapping of geology and mineral resources. The built-in camera enables instant visual data capture in the field, and the 3.5” VGA touch screen display with sunlight readable technology dramatically enhances the viewing quality of graphic-intensive files and detailed maps, even in bright sunlight or snowy conditions.
