  • The fake Google USB Flash Drive

If you’re a fan of USB Flash Drives and like the Patriot Memory Xporter Magnum that can handle 64GB, or the more luxurious one such as the Limited Edition Solid GOLD Eloquence Pico-C, it means you’ll also like the Google Flash Drive.

As you can see on the image, the portable storage device has the google logo on its body, but it seems to be an old version that isn’t used anymore - so consider it the unofficial and fake version. Anyway, it is available in different capacities that can go from 64MB up to 8GB, and the data transfer rates could be a bit better: 8Mbps for reading, and 7Mbps for writing.

Duracell is known by the good (?) and expensive batteries that have been in the market for more than 50 years, but it looks like that market is a becoming bit small, and therefore they picked storage devices as their second “weapon” of choice.

The new storage devices will be made in cooperation with Dane-Elec, and the catalog includes a big number of products, such as normal USB Flash Drives, and different memory cards: SD, microSD, Secure Digital, CompactFlash, and others.

At the moment the products are already available online, at DuracellFlash, but unfortunately there is no information about the price of each device.

I am sucker for USB flash drives. The cooler it looks the more I’d want to get it. What I should be looking is storage space and transfer speeds right? Wrong! I evaluate the overall visual impression.

And today I found an USB sandal flash drive which would remind me of summer. If you’re happy with just 2GB of memory then go pick a sandal up. You can always get a pair of those if you need more space. The 2GB Sandal USB Flash Drive costs just $17. I’ll have a size 9 and 1/2 please!

    Mahjong styled USB Flash Drives

In the past when USB Flash Drives weren’t so common, people didn’t care much about the style or design of the portable storage devices. But in nowadays it is all different because there is too much to offer, and when we reach that point it is originality that counts to make a difference.

With this in mind, take a look at this Mahjong styled drives that can be customized to suit your needs. You can pick the type of wood, title, and name of the drive.

As expected with unique devices of this kind, the price is rather expensive when compared to the 32GB Kingston. $400 is what you have to pay depending if you pick a 8GB or 16GB version.

This is way to cool a gadget to miss out on. The above set has multiple functions. You get three colored highlighters, which are blue, yellow and green, an USB memory flash drive with up to 2GB of space, and an USB hub to hold them all together.

I know what you’re thinking. What if you have to use orange to highlight something that demands an orange highlighter? Here is a more complicated solution: scan the document, highlight it in orange and print it out again.

I am not that clear with the pricing so better check it out here.
