The app is Movies by Flixster made for the iPhone and the Android which should come in handy as far as finding out what is showing and which cinemas are near your place. It makes use of GPS to list the cinemas nearest you and even allows you to search them by name.

Or if you are aching to know when a new movie of your choice would start showing, you can always search by title, actor or any keyword related to the film you are looking for. Each film also includes a link to watch the trailer right on your phone. The Movies app is now available at the iTunes app store. Only U.S. films are shown with this app.
