The HTC Rose or S740 has been approved by the FCC. The Rose is one of the last handsets made by HTC. It’s Windows Mobile handset like all recent HTC devices, excepting the Dream of course. The rose comes with a hybrid keybad/keyboard, GPS, WiFi and a 3.2 megapixel camera. Think of it like a modified HTC Touch. Add a slide-out full keyboard and a keypad and you get the Rose. You’d also have to remove the touchscreen to get a Rose. That last part you might not like!
The Rose is ready to be sold in the USA. All it needs now is some 3G support for the US since it only has quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE for now. Let’s see what carrier will pick this one up!

The Sagem Roxy mobile phone was found lurking in the FCC amidst today’s T-Mobile G1’s unveiling. Compatible with 3G/2100MHz (UMTS/HSDPA) and GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz, the Roxy is your typical world phone. Interestingly, the phone features a visual cue in the form of a light at the top, indicating missed calls and new messages. Available in a candy-bar form factor, the phone comse with T9 input mode.
There’s also an integrated FM radio receiver on the Sagem Roxy. The phone is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, and is capable of capturing photos and videos. Depending on the recipient phone, you can also make video calls. The music player can download files using WAP or connecting to a computer. The Roxy also supports external memory cards (volume controls are on the side).

Here’s another mid range phone from Motorola. The ZN200 is a slider phone, probably not as resistant as the i335 we’ve seen yesterday, which has just been approved by the FCC. Thus the leaked photo above.
I said this was a mid range phone right? Yes I did! The ZN200 has a 2 megapixels camera with 8x digital zoom, video recording, an USB connector, Bluetooth and a 2.5 mm headphone jack. There’s FM radio, Windows Media Player but a rather small screen. It will offer dual GSM 850/1900 and that’s about it people. Nothing special to see here folks!

The Sony Ericsson T658c mobile phone just got the approval from the Federal Communications Commission. Intended for the China market (hence the ‘c’ in the name), the T658c features a 3.2 megapixel camera for some neat photos on your phone, as well as themes, illumination and materials inspired by nature. It is a GSM 900/1800/1900MHz tri-band phone and supports Java J2ME for apps and games. As with most other phones, it supports a flight mode where all communication related features are turned off but you can still use the T658c as a camera or music player.
The Sony Ericsson T658c offers USB connectivity for data sync and copying over your music. It supports PlayNow, and some of the common SE applications like VideoDJ, PhotoDJ and MusicDJ are available on the phone. The phone takes in Memory Stick Micro (the M2). Obviously, the phone supports Chinese input as well. The included music player supports MP3, MP4, M4A, 3GP, AAC, AAC+, AMR, MIDI, WAV and other formats, as well as streaming music and video.
There’s also a full-fledged email client that supports POP3/IMAP4 email. The camera lets you record videos. If your service provider supports it, you can also get information on traffic and other useful info depending on your area/cell info.
No word on the pricing or exact availability.
