If you’re familiar with the European music service Spotify then you might like a future Spotify-based phone made by INQ. The phone should be launched by Telia as soon as Spotify and INQ finish building it. At this point there aren’t that many details about the future handset but things seem to check out. Both INQ and Spotify are backed by Li Ka-Shing, one of the wealthiest persons on Earth which also happens to be interested in mobile technology and social networking (he’s also one of Facebook’s well known investors.)
We will probably find out more about INQ’s future Spotify phone in the near future, but unless you live in Europe, it’s less likely that you’ll get a chance to be interested in it anytime soon.

Yahoo has long been one of the most used search engines out there but compared to Google it’s ages behind. However, the search engine company has recently launched its new homepage which is expected to turn the website around, or so CEO Carol Bartz hopes.
The new web portal will allow users to integrate online services such as Hotmail and Facebook which Yahoo hopes will increase revenue and give the website’s traffic a boost. In turn, Yahoo thinks that by letting users include such content in the main page they will be able to view their entire “life on the internet” at one page, rather than several.
Will this new campaign work? Only time will tell.

If you have an iPhone, one of the first apps you downloaded was most likely Facebook (if not, have you been living under a rock?). Well, it was recently announced that the app’s latest version, 3.0, has been submitted to the App Store for Apple’s sign of approval.
There’s no telling when exactly the updated version of the app will be made available but included above are 2 screen shots Gizmodo managed to snag before they were pulled. As you can see, even though the version number is still 2.5, the screen shots display content only found in 3.0.
Could this mean the update is to be pushed out today? Let’s hope so.
