This may seem out of the blue but that’s the way most cell phones get leaked, isn’t it? Touted to be a successor to the F700, a new smartphone has popped up on ThePhoneHouse (Dutch subsidiary of Carphone Warehouse) called the Samsung B7610 Louvre. Details are sparse as of now but from the picture, we can assume that the device will be running Windows Mobile 6.1 and has a full QWERTY keypad. We will have to wait for Samsung to open up for other details and with a release date of July according to the website, they better make it official real soon, before blurry pictures or detailed spec sheets start emerging.

Anyone wants an alternative to the iPhone? Check out Samsung’s SGH-F700V a smartphone from the company that for the most part is famous for its consumer-focused models rather than its business offering.
Available exclusively on the Vodafone network in the UK for the time being, you get touch and keyboard controls including a 3 megapixel camera and microSD card support. The F700V is a tri-band GSM handset (900, 1800, 1900) with EDGE and HSDPA, capable of mobile broadband speeds of up to 7.2Mbps. Measuring 4.1 x 2 x 0.6 inches and weighing 3.2oz.
It’s a little smaller in all but thickness than the iPhone though its 2.78-inch, 240 x 440 touchscreen is considerably smaller than the Apple’s 3.5-inch display.
Other features include a document viewer, an FM radio, a music and video player with a healthy number of formats supported, A2DP Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and drag and drop file transfer.

Samsung Electronics has recently released its Ultra Smart F700 built to take on the challenge issued by Apple’s iPhone. This time however, they have an ally in hand. Vodafone was reported to be in on the deal but it won’t only release it on a few selected areas (like the iPhone) but release it to the major public.
Vodafone of course is the largest mobile telecommunications network company in the world by turnover and has a market value of about £84.7 billion.
The Samsung F700, just like the iPhone, has some pretty amazing features to its credit. This includes a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and support for High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) network. Users can experience the joys of high speed net as HSDPA speeds can touch up to 7.2 Mbps.
Other features found on the handset include: a 2.78″ color display, Bluetooth, VibeTonz technology and a “Drag and drop” touch interface.
