    LG GW620 Android Phone Spotted

We’ve been waiting for a few months now to see LG’s Android phone, the GW620, become official. Although no North American carrier will launch the GW620 is supposed to officially debut in Europe by the end of the year. And it looks like it has already been spotted on French territory and captured on video. The phone will offer you a 3-inch resistive touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack. And if Motorola has MOTOBLUR on top of Android, LG made sure its proprietary S-Class UI will work well under Android conditions too. We don’t have pricing details just yet but at least we can see the LG GW620 in action.

After announcing the coming of the Nokia 6350 the other day, T-Mobile adds another Nokia phone to its roster with the Nokia 2330. The Nokia 2330 will be paired with T-Mobile plans, presumably cheap ones.

The Nokia 2330 is not a new handset in the market. It came out in 2008 and boasts of features such as a VGA camera, dual-band and a 32 MB internal memory. The Nokia 2330 is set to be offered to customers in the coming weeks but pricing has yet to be announced. Just to give you an idea, the Nokia 2330 carries a MSRP of €50 in Europe.

  • Rarely would you see a mobile handset that can cater to dual-boot capability but it seems that Sunno is making that believable with their new Sunno S880. A dead-ringer for the Sony Ericcson Idou, this mobile phone boasts of a 3.6” WVGA display and a built-in 8 megapixel camera.

The Sunno S880 phone also comes with WiFi and GPS as well as an 806 MHz chip. But the real highlight of this phone is the dual boot. It can flip between the Microsoft and Google OS which is obviously catchy thing about it.

The Sunno S880 will reportedly be released on October 15. Pricing was not disclosed although it looks like the Sunno S880 mobile device may not even reach the borders of North America or Europe. Apparently it seems t be made for use only in China.

What is a Pulse you might ask? Well it’s Huawei’s Android phone and it’s apparently coming to T-Mobile in Europe. The phone hasn’t been announced so far but rumors point to an October launch. The Pulse is said to cost around $366 without a contract and it will apparently sport the following features:

    • 3.5 inch touchscreen display
    • HSDPA / HSUPA support
    • Wi-Fi
    • GPS
    • Bluetooth 2.0
    • 3.2MP camera
    • MicroSD card support

Will the Pulse make it to the U.S. this year? That remain to be seen, but we’ll keep a lookout for you!

Here’s a GPS solution you’ll certainly enjoy. The Navigon 8410 GPS has been launched in Europe and it costs just around $630. For that price you’ll get a 5-inch touchscreen, a polished steel frame, DVB-T digital television tuner, City3D photo-realistic 3D mapping and a media player. I don’t know about you but that 3D mapping software sounds really interesting. You’ll actually see most of the buildings on that screen so getting lost will be even harder. Too bad it’s limited to only a few cities for now. Hopefully that will change in the future and Navigon will add support for even more locations.

  • The GSM Palm Pre is closing in and Europeans will finally be able to purchase it. Spanish carrier Movistar will launch the new Palm phone from the looks of this press photo. Considering that Movistar is owned by Telefonica, and Telefonica signed an exclusivity agreement with Palm, we were expecting it to launch the Pre in Spain, just like O2 will launch it in the UK. Let’s home that the phone will be available sooner rather than later. The press release says that:

Palm Pre is scheduled to be available initially in the UK, Ireland and Germany exclusively on the O2 network, and in Spain exclusively on the Movistar network, in time for the holidays.

What does that “in time for the holidays” mean actually? We’ll be looking forward for some prices and some clear release dates and we’ll get back to you once we get them

  • Remember LG’s watchphone which we showed you a long time ago? Well it seems that LG is ready to offer it for sale in the UK this August. Orange UK is apparently the carrier that has the exclusivity for the GD910 so that’s where you should head to for specific pricing details. Despite being a pretty small cellphone you can expect it to cost at least $1,000 if not more. Other European markets should also start selling the GD910 but we’ll keep you updated.

A GSM Palm Pre has been spotted in Vietnam recently which led many people to believe that the handset must be on its way towards various GSM markets. One of them is the UK and from the looks of it, we might see the phone arrive in the UK sometime next week.

Rumors point to a July 7 launch but, as always, there’s nothing official about it. We’ll have to wait until next Tuesday to find out more about Palm’s intentions in the UK. Should we assume that other Europeans carriers are planning to launch the phone in the following months? In the mean time we wouldn’t mind getting leaked photos and details about the UK version of the Pre!

Besides Orange UK it seems that Orange Spain is also going to sell the HTC Hero soon. And we should safely assume that Orange will consider bring the Hero to other markets too. In the mean time the phone will be available to Spanish customers for 99 Euro when purchased with a monthly plan of at least 29 Euro. In case you’re going to pre-order it online, you can get the phone for just 89 Euro. The Hero will be available in Orange stores sometime next week and in case you don’t want a new agreement you’ll be able to get the newest HTC Android phone for somewhere around 500 Euro. What do you think?

    Palm Pre GSM Coming Soon?

One important difference between Apple’s iPhone and Palm’s Pre is that the iPhone can virtually go anywhere. Besides the USA, the iPhone will be available in 70 more countries in the following months but the Pre won’t. Carriers and customers around the world are waiting for Palm to launch the GSM version of the Pre since that CDMA model Sprint is selling is no good in Europe and other markets.

Good news though, it looks like there’s at least a Pre unit that can deal with a GSM network. And it has been seen in Vietnam where we can safely assume that the phones are being made. Should we assume that a GSM launch is imminent? Is anyone waiting for the GSM Palm Pre?

UK laptop buyers should check out Dell’s latest offer. Every £499 Inspiron 15 or £599 Studio 15 purchase will be bundled with a free round-trip flight to the USA or Europe. You won’t really get the destination choice of your dreams since there are some clear limitations. You can fly out from Heathrow or Gatwick only and the available destinations are New York, Boston, DC, Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid, Lisbon and a few similar airports.

Just make sure you’re willing to fly somewhere else on a different date if your initial travel plans can come through:

The Booking Request Form entitles you, the bearer, to one return flight offer as specified, to one of the featured destinations. To obtain the flight you will be required to provide 3 alternative destinations and 3 alternative travel dates. Our booking agent will use all reasonable endeavors to meet your booking requests but this cannot be guaranteed and, in such circumstances, you will be offered an alternative.

What do you think about the deal? Doesn’t it look like you’re getting a free laptop with each round-trip flight?
