Try to be unique this coming Father’s day by giving your father something different. In fact, he may even be dumbfounded if you end up handing him a Samsung Eternity this June 21. The cost? Don’t worry about it. Thanks to this special promotion by AT&T, you can get dad a Samsung Eternity for only $79.99.

Now how is that for a cool Father’s Day gift? Dad will not know what hit him with this great QWERTY touch screen gizmo. And when you buy one from AT&T, you get some great apps to go with it like AT&T Mobile TV, AT&T Navigator and AT&T FamilyMap.

The Samsung Eternity, with a vibrant 3.2-inch touch screen, boasts a full-touch QWERTY keypad providing customers access to messaging, AT&T Mobile Music with Napster Mobile and the 3.0 megapixel camera. The Eternity’s browser provides customers with the ability to navigate pages with the touch of a finger while surfing the Internet on the nation’s fastest 3G network.

The Samsung Eternity is available through AT&T retail locations or online at http://www.wireless.att.com for $79.99 with a two-year service agreement. (Pay $129.99 and after mail-in rebate receive $50 AT&T Promotion Card. Two-year agreement and minimum $20 data or messaging plan required.)

  • On October we mentioned the a867 Eternety from Samsung, that had a rumored price of $99, but the truth is that the mobile phone is a bit more expensive. With that being said, the Samsung SGH-a867 with contract + rebate costs $150. In terms of features, the cellphone has a full-face touchscreen which means there are no buttons. It also comes with a 3-megapixel camera, support for HSDPA, AT&T Navigator service, and the all usual features a top-notch handset can handle.
