Acer seems to be busy these days. After releasing one laptop after another, they have another product released in the market with the Acer AspireRevo R3610-U9012 Nettop. This nettop is an ultra-sleek, dark blue device that is practically the size of a book. The AspireRevo R3610-U9012 is a functional solution for home PC needs and various multimedia endeavors which includes gaming when connected to an LCD or TV. The Acer AspireRevo R3610-U9012 retails for $329.99 and is now available in the U.S.

  • Kanguru Solutions a new dual ended flash drive with the release of the 64GB Kanguru e-Flash. The two ends allow this flash drive to support high speed eSata and the other for the standard USB 2.0 interface. This makes the 64GB Kanguru e-Flash quite flexible as far as accessibility and compatibility with most computers that may not yet have eSata ports.

The Kanguru e-Flash also comes with preloaded with HotSwap software for easier connection and ejections of the device together with a high-strength aluminum housing that assures owners of engraved and secure caps for added protection as far as the drive and internal data is concerned.

The e-Flash drive is compatible with most OS like Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS 9.x and above and Linux 2.4 and above.

Here’s a new approach to USB flash drives. The e-Flash from Kanguru does more than USB 2.0. It also goes eSATA on the other side. That means you will get a significant speed increase if you have eSATA support. The drives come in 16 and 32GB version for $85 or $120. A 64GB version will arrive in January 2009. In case you were looking for a new flash drive, I say this should be the way to go while waiting for USB 3.0 to be made available.
