If you were looking to pick up an LG enV3 or enV TOUCH now may be the time sa Verizon wireless has announced that they will begin offering the two handsets at a discounted price starting today.

When they first hit the market a few weeks ago the enV3 cost $129 while the enV TOUCH cost $149. Now, the enV3 is priced at $79.99 and the enV TOUCH at $99.99, both on 2 year contracts of course.

Of course those early adopters who bought the two mobile devices when they first came out are seemingly out of luck but then again aren’t those who adopt early always shafted somehow?

The LG enV3 is coming from Verizon Wireless and that has been confirmed. The phone is coming on May 29 and it will cost $129 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 2-year contract, $199 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 1-year contract and $299 if purchased without a contract. The phone comes with a 2.6-inch internal display, a 1.5-inch external display, QWERTY keyboard, a 3 megapixel camera with flash and video recording capability, microSD expansion upgrade for up to 16GB, Bluetooth, GPS, and Verizon services like V CAST Music with Rhapsody, V CAST videos, VZ Navigator and Visual Voice Mail. Anyone getting the enV3?

  • We don’t know exactly how much envy this bulky texter will generate, but if it’s your kind of device, we have something blurry to show you.  The Verizon enV3, which was spy-shot last month, has now been pictured again, this time hangin at BGR with another unannounced device, the VX11000 (christened the enV Touch), a replacement for the already available LG Voyager.  We already know a fair bit about the enV3, and it looks like if you know the enV3, you already know the enV Touch too, as both the devices share a similar spec sheet, except for the touch-enabled external display.  As you can see from the picture, it has a QWERTY keypad and stereo speakers; hidden behind is a 3-megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headset jack, and a micrSD slot with support for up to 16GB.  No information from Verizon or LG on a release date but keep reading for some more fuzzy pics until they open up.

  • Verizon LG enV3 spotted

Looking for a worthy upgrade to your ageing enV2? You may not have to wait long as we have news that the next iteration in the enV series is already on its way, worthy or not.  According to VZW E, a member of HowardForums, who posted the pictures, the vx9200 or the enV3 sees a bump from 2 megapixels from its predecessor to 3 megapixel and a few structural changes including a curved external dialpad and the omission of one space bar button on the QWERTY keypad found inside.  The display has added on a few more pixels from the looks of it, while the flanking stereo speakers remain where they were on the enV2.  Not much of an upgrade if you ask me, but without the complete spec list, we might be wrong after all.  Read on for one more fuzzy shot of the enV3’s exterior…
