PXP-2000 - All-in-One PMP

If you’ve been looking around to purchase a cool portable media player that has a lot of features, check out the PXP-2000 that is a look-a-like of the PSP. Anyway, this copycat version supports microSD cards so you don’t have to worry about storage capacity.

In terms of compatible file formats, the list is big thanks to the support of codecs. With that being said, the PXP-2000 can playback the following files: RM, RMVB, AVI, WMV, ASF, MPG, MPEG, MPE, MP4, DAT, MOV, and DAT. Additionally, this player can also turn into a gamer because it comes with a NES emulator, and also supports Gameboy and SFC. So, if this isn’t the full-of-features-PMP that you’ve been looking for, I don’t know what it is…

That’s right future webOS lovers, Pre’s Classic Palm OS emulator will be able to run all those precious Palm applications that you’ve grown to love. And you might be surprised of its capabilities. The video here shows the emulator running a 3D game, the GTS World Racer. That means the Pre has enough power to run 3D games and applications. And if the emulator works as good, we can only conclude that 3D games for webOS will run even smoother.

It seems emulators are really popular these days. If you’re tired of playing with your G1 emulator, go get the Storm emulator now. That’s right, RIM has a BlacBerry emulator which will let you get a sneak preview of what the touchscreen device will feel like. Sure you won’t have everything available but there are enough things to try out. Probably you want to touch that screen already, but the emulator won’t emulate that feeling on your PC!

You might be lucky enough to have pre-ordered the G1 in time. Or you might be just like the rest of us, waiting for October 22nd to buy it in store. In any case you probably want a taste of that Android OS mounted on the HTC Dream as soon as possible.

T-Mobile has a G1 emulator for you to play with. Sure it doesn’t have all the functions of the real thing but you can still get a general idea of how stuff works. Don’t bother complaining about various issues and bugs you might spot along the way. It’s just an emulator for now. You’ll get the chance to complain later on about the real thing.
