Sure, it’s not as cool as Nokia’s recently announced N97 mini, but it looks like a RAZR and that’s cool enough for me. Anyways, what you see above is the Nokia Mural which was recently announced to be coming to AT&T on September 6th for $49.99 after rebate and a 2-year contract.

This phone will feature a 2.2-inch screen, 3G, external music buttons, 2mp camera, IM and email clients, and a microSDHC slot.

The best feature of all? The fact that you can customize the phone’s lighting, woo!

While the BlackBerry email client is widely regarded as one of the best on the market, the support for Gmail has been nothing more than lackluster thus far.

Today, however, the Gmail Plug-in for BlackBerry has gotten updated and will include features like syncing from your device to your computer (but not vice versa) along with archived mail and managing labels.

With online shopping and transactions growing in numbers, the need to keep track of who has paid up and who have not is important. While you can always use the PayPal invoicing options, the lacking thing here is being alerted unless you are always checking your email. With Mobya Instant Pay, you can be alerted on your iPhone or Android.

It is not that hard to use. All you have to do is create a record on your cellphone and then the debtor receives an email instantly with a link to repay you, which he can do with either his credit card or his PayPal account. As soon as the payment has been entered you will see it automatically in InstantPay. Its that simple but pretty much useful.

The InstantPay App is free for download and use. However PayPal commissions are added to the payment amount. This app is available now on the App Store and the Android market.

The Pre is an amazing phone and we keep discovering stuff about it. One of them is the Landscape email mode which is currently hidden from the eyes of average Pre users. But some of those users are smart enough to discover the unlock key.

In case you too want to access your email in landscape mode then you have to enter “RocknRollHax” on the keyboard. You’ll have to enter the unlock code exactly as written here every time you access the email application but at least you’ll have that landscape mode activated every time. You’ll have to keep using the phone at least until Palm will make this feature official.

One cannot foretell when their iPhone or iPod would need repairs and the next thing an owner would have to do is look for a reliable service center to fix it. But the problem is while there are many centers offering such a service, scams are rampant.

Can you imagine the money they can make by accepting, running off and selling an iPod or iPhone in numbers? That would cost a fortune and a great means of illegal revenue if you entrust your device to the wrong hands.

There are a lot of scams concerning this issue. But there is one repair site that aims to solicit the confidence of iPod owners to avoid the false pretention of fly-by-night pretenders. Ipodjuice.com announces a couple of announcements to ease these scam worries to help safeguard you iPod or iPhone when they need repairs.

  • First, the shop created a new page on their site giving information on the history and make-up of the business in order to ease ipodjuice scam concerns.
  • Secondly, while it has always been simple to get in touch with somebody at the site ipodjuice.com via email or phone, it is now possible to speak directly with the iPod repair owner at the drop of a hat.
  • Third, since the business has a physical store for taking care of walk-in customers, customers can now request to tour the actual location where orders are filled and devices are worked on. You can now actually view their receiving area, customer service department, shipping office, and even the technicians’ repair and testing shop. This offer is only for potential and current customers, and is not offered to competing businesses hoping to score some pointers.

“There are several real-deal iPod repair shops out there, and ipodjuice.com is proud to be among them.”, added Magnabosco. “We are confident that, with these assurances, on top of our already trusted name and reputation, ipodjuice scam worries will dissipate, since they are simply unwarranted to begin with.”

  • I’ve lost count on the number of times I have bumped into people and trashcans while texting or emailing on foot, and if there was an Email’n'Walk app for WinMo or Symbian, it would have been great.  But Phase2Media’s Email’n'Walk app is available only for the iPhone as of now, so at least some people should be safe while out on their morning walks.  This app uses the video from the iPhone’s camera as the background for your email composition window (no SMS support), helping you keep an eye out for obstacles in your path, although with the phone’s lowly 2mpx camera, I am not sure how effective this would turn out to be.  But you never know till you try it out, so look for it on the App Store and get it for free.

  • Lenovo and RIM’s Constant Connect is now finally available. What will Constant Connect do for you? It will let your ThinkPad get your BlackBerry emails whenever the two devices are within a certain range of each other. What’s even more interesting is that the technology behind this product will let your laptop get those emails even when the laptop is turned off. Unfortunately this product will only appeal to those customers that own both a RIM BlackBerry and a ThinkPad laptop but the whole concept is pretty darn interesting. Constant Connect will be available for $149 so go ahead and grab it if it looks interesting to you.

Now here’s an idea: T-Mobile UK has recently announced the addition of a “Pay Once” option for those interested in buying the Blackberry Pearl 8110.

If you choose this deal, you’ll pay a one time fee of £180/$262 and get a brand new Blackberry Pearl 8110 complete with unlimited internet and email for a year. Sounds cool, right?

The only problem is that there aren’t any minutes bundled with the “Pay Once” deal so you’re forced to deal with a pay-as-you-go method of obtaining minutes. Oh well, can’t win ‘em all!

    Sprint Starts Palm Pre Training

In what many call as a sign of things to come, Sprint employees have reportedly started training on the Palm Pre, a development many foresee as the imminent release of the highly anticipated mobile device.

The Palm Pre is rumored to be released somewhere between April and May and if this factor is to be considered for the developmental stages of the Palm Pre then perhaps we may see the launch of this phone.

All the rumors and speculations of a mid-April/late April/May launch of the Palm Pre doesn’t appear to be too far of a stretch. Stated in an email from Sprint, “Employees can expect training to start in April as well as multiple communications to get them excited and ready to help our customers.” I was wondering if the training has begun — so I asked for a confirmation on that thought.

“I would like to inform that Sprint is in the process of providing the training for the new Palm Pre. Once it’s launched, Sprint will be ready to serve their valued customers regarding the Palm Pre.”

The fact that Sprint employees are already training up on the Palm Pre, pretty much implies that the release date of the Pre should be near. On top of that, early this week, Sprint began getting the word out about the Pre with their new marketing campaign.

  • An application that is more or less similar to the Qik application, streaming video needs on the iPhone are pegged to get a big boost with this new UStream iPhone video broadcasting application that is vying for a place on the Appstore.

The good news is that their latency from streaming to watching is pretty good (about 2-3 seconds), which is live enough to be called live. Not good enough, though, for having a conversation with really.

The iPhone 3G’s camera is decent enough to take video and the processor is fast enough to process and upload it.

Another really cool feature is the live poll, which you can activate and have all your viewers vote on. It sends an email to your account address when you close the poll.

The tech is there, so all that’s left is for Apple to approve it. It’s available now for jailbroken phones.
