Iomega have revealed their updated array of eGo USB portable hard-drives, now available in four sporty colors and with up to 500GB of capacity. Based on 2.5-inch 5,400rpm HDDs sheathed in anodized aluminum cases just 16mm thick, the 200g drives feature Iomega’s Drop Guard to protect data from falls of up to 51-inches.
The 250GB Ruby Red eGo model is priced at $84.99; the 320GB Ruby Red, Midnight Blue and Silver eGo models are $94.99; the 500GB Ruby Red is $134.99; and the 500GB BlackBelt eGo model is $139.99. In the coming months, Iomega will add to their range with multiple-interface models, expected to introduce eSATA among other connections.

This device is a way for users to get information whenever they need it without having to turn on a computer and log onto the Internet.
The Embarq eGo phone still maintains that same basic functions of a cellular phone like text messaging, voice-mails and so on.
The eGo handset is available online for $129.95 and in Embarq stores at a $30 discount.
