If you thought the Nokia E71 (or even the E71x) deserved a business suit every time you had to carry around, pretty soon, the addition of a 5-megapixel lens on this work-oriented smartphone will definitely change your mindset. Dubbed the E71i this time, this Nokia device will get a much-needed bump up to a 5mpx lens from the 3.2 megapixel shooter that the current versions have, in turn bringing in more consumers who had previously stayed away from the E71 for the sole reason of an under-powered camera. We have already seen many 8mpx and 12 mpx cameraphones, but with a 5-megapixel lens, Nokia isn’t jumping too high and ends up maintaining the dignity that Eseries devices demand. The Symbian OS will also be updated to Feature Pack 2, just like the E71x released recently, and the handset will be available only in shades of mocha brown. Rumors point to a E71i release as early as September with the Nokia World event scheduled for the same month or as late as October, so stay tuned and we will get more on this as it transpires.

This is hot news indeed. Ramalho Blog has unearthed an authentic-looking promo for two new Nokia devices, the E75 and E72. The E72 has a silde-out QWERTY keypad while maintaining some semblance to the already available E71 and the E75 has a QWERTY keypad below the display. Everything about the video looks real as far as we can say and both the E75 and E72 seem like great devices. From the video, we could say that apart from the QWERTY keypad, both the cell phones have WiFi, GPS, an accelerometer, and may be even HSDPA support, running as usual on Symbian OS. It might be a long time till Nokia announces these two handsets, but until then, we will be happy to bring you more information via leaks and slip-ups that seem to happen much too often nowadays. Skip over for the video…

The FCC has given Nokia green signal to roll out the E65 successor, the Nokia E66. We see an official announcement being prepared from Nokia in the very near future. Not much is known about the E66 but assuming that rumors do come true, the E66 is a slider that will carry a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS, 128MB of internal memory, quad-band network support, and a QWERTY keypad with much more aplomb than your average business class phone. Again, we will have to wait till the official announcement for the release date and price, but if the slip-up this January is true, we are looking at a second quarter release and a $550 tag.
