Vivitar DVR 150

One of the latest fads in cameras and camcorders models is the Flip model with the candybar handheld shape and easy-to-download flip-out USB feature. The Vivitar DVR 150 follows that model with a 1.8-inch LCD screen, 2GB of built-in memory with expandable cards, built-in USB connector, TV out, as well as webcam mode. Unlike other cameras of its type, it is waterproof down to 16 feet and has infrared night vision.

It comes in four different colors and costs about $50.

Put your DVR to good use and maximize the ways you can record your favorite shows and films even if you are away from home with this new app, the U-verse TV Mobile Remote Access for the iPhone. The only obstacle that people have to deal with when it comes to capturing videos is that of other errands. This time, you can do that practically from anywhere. And the best part of it all is that the app is free which should all the more make it an tempting app to have on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

The app allows users to easily search U-verse TV program listings from the full program guide, view descriptions of selected programs, schedule program or series recordings, manage or edit scheduled recordings, and delete stored DVR content.

The launch of the new U-verse TV Mobile Remote Access App follows several DVR enhancements that are currently being rolled out to U-verse TV customers, including an exclusive new Total Home DVR feature that allows customers to schedule and delete recordings from any U-verse receiver in the home to a single DVR.
