The app is the initial offering of the AccuTerra map applications from Intermap Technologies which will start with the Yosemite National Park Lite and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Never get lost and be where you should be when outdoors are concerned. Some may be familiar but considering the large droves of people traveling here and there, they are bound to miss out on some key places that should be included in their travel itinerary.

According to Michael E. Bullock, vice president, Intermap consumer electronics, “Our AccuTerra Apps are Intermap’s first products for the iPhone that enable users to plan, enjoy, and share their outdoor adventures with others – in short, we’re ‘making the great outdoors greater.”

The AccuTerra app is now available for download over at the Apple App Store or the iTunes Store.
