There are a lot of good reasons to be affiliated with groups such as AAA. Being America’s largest motoring and leisure travel organization, they can really make a difference as far as assisting motorists is concerned. And just like most companies who have embraced the fruits of new technology, AAA releases their own version for the iPhone, the AAA Roadside App.

As you would expect, this app is designed to aid motorists in time of need. This covers instances where they encounter car trouble and with the app, help is practically a call away.

The app includes a While You Are Waiting feature, so members can search for nearby AAA Approved Auto Repair shops, Hertz rental locations offering AAA member discounts, AAA Approved accommodations, AAA offices and retail locations with discounts on auto parts and more. Each search displays key information for each location, such as the name, address, phone, distance from location, routing map, driving directions and a summary of the discount details.

The AAA Roadside App is now available at the for free at the iTunes App Store.
