DosPara has presented their latest Netbook powered by Linux, which is named Prime Note Catrina. The only problem is that the announcement is a bit strange, because this is a limited edition in which only 30 units will become available in Japan.
Anyhow, the small notebook boasts a 8.9-inch LCD screen with an Atom N270 processor, and only 1GB of memory RAM, with 120GB on the hard-drive to store a bit of data, because in nowadays 120GB isn’t much in terms of storage capacity on a laptop. The latest DosPara netbook weights 1.1Kg and WiFi is obviously included. Looking at the specs I guess people can only ask… why only 30 units for Japan?

The DosPara Prime SSD-RAID is probably one of the most expensive desktop computers you’ve seen in recent weeks, thanks to the $9,300 price tag and the use of a SSD-RAID system.
By using six units of an Intel X25-M Mainstream 80GB SSD drive, the total storage capacity goes up to 480GB, and the reading speed hits the top at 1119.73MB/sec.
