We already know about the other Android handset that’s on its way to China, and HTC is now following suit with the G2, more widely known as the HTC Magic with a few modifications to make it fit enough for China Mobile. 3G and WiFi are given a miss in this version and support for the country’s TD-SCDMA network is thrown in. That’s not all that is changed as the user interface is also completely customized with Chinese language support and the brand name has also been changed to Dopod, a name much more popular than HTC in China.

The CHT 9110 will utilize the Windows Mobile 6.0 mobile operating system and will also support Chinese Telecommunication’s 3G the mPro service. In addition, a fashionable Media Player is also included, with the option of course, to download more interesting applications to enable users to customize this device according to their pleasure.
The phone’s additional features include HSDPA 3.5G, GSM, GPRS, EDGE and WiFi. With the use of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.0, the phone can also send and receive emails - perfect for those people always on the go. The 9110 also features an enormous 2.8 inches 65,536 colors TFT with touch screen capabilities. And with its wide screen, it is perfect for multimedia video and music functions. The phone weighs approximately 150mg.
