Recall the iRiver NV that we mentioned one year ago? It was a beast when it came out, sporting a GPS function, being a portable media player, having a digital media broadcasting feature, and a FM tuner. If you enjoyed the NV, get ready for its smaller brother named iRiver NV Mini.

The main difference is really the size, because the rest of the features are almost all the same. With that being said, the NV Mini has a smaller 3.5-inch screen, which is exactly half the size of the iRiver NV. In terms of the GPS navigation, the system uses software and maps made in Korea by Gini, and it is all included in a SD memory card of 4GB.

Cowon presents P5 PMP

Portable media players made by Cowon have been mentioned a couple of times, remember the iAudio X7? Or the Q5? Probably not, but that doesn’t matter much because their main target market is in Korea. With that being said, they have presented the upcoming P5 player.

Sporting a 5-inch LCD color screen with a big resolution of 800×480 pixels, the P5 PMP has an unusual processor, more specifically the RMI Alchemu Au1250 that runs at 700MHz. Other details on this fresh player include FM radio, an electronic dictionary, bluetooth, voice recording, and DMB - Digital Multimedia Broadcasting - so you can easily watch TV.

As for the battery on Cowon Q5, it lasts 14 hours of music, or 9 hours of video.

  • LG-LB2500H Shine Wood Cell Phone

LG%20Wood.jpgA new LG phone is coming from the immensely popular Shine line of products. This one is called Wood because it has a wooden frame that gives the LG-LB2500H a natural feel. LG has not gone o’ natural with the Wood’s capabilities however. It wields high end features like a 2MP camera, MP3 Player and an electronic dictionary. There is also a DMB television for this Korea only telephone. No launch date has been released and the retail price is anybody’s guess at this point.
