All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

It seems that the phone we saw pictured yesterday entitled the Motorola Barrage has been made official today for Verizon by way of a leaked spec sheet, pictured above.

As you can see, this sheet gives not only the handset’s specs (which we already knew about) but also the pricing and release date for the phone. According to said sheet, the Motorola Barrage will be made available in Verizon retail stores on November 16th, 2009 for $179.99 on a 2-year contract.

You amy be asking yourself how could anyone charge such a price for a flip phone and the answer is becasue of the materials that were used to make its ultra “rugged durable design”.

Apple has decided to invest some of that money it made off of those iPhone phones into 100 new stores this year. And it looks like the new stores will have a totally new design.

What are the new changes you ask? The Genius Bar is larger than before which means more people will be able to get advice at once. Other important features are the floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides of the store which will bring more light in the room together with the skylights in the roof. The first store to see all these new changes implemented is in Scottsdale Arizona but 100 more will follow so you’ll be able to check a new design store soon.

Do you happen to dig the great looks of the HTC Diamond or the Touch Pro? If you had enough cash, and just happened to be working over at HTC, wouldn’t you want to ensure the great design of the future smartphones you are producing? Well, I would, and if I’d have enough cash in my pockets I’d just go out and buy some design companies. And guess what, that’s just what HTC did! HTC has joined forces with One & Co. Actually HTC bought One & Co, a company who also worked with brands like Adidas, Sony, Apple, TiVo, Coca-Cola and more.

Horace Luke, Chief Innovation Officer, HTC Corporation said:

Design is key, it is why you love or hate something Integrating iconic design into HTC products is an inspiring and dynamic challenge that requires a unique combination of consumer insight, creativity, innovation and an appetite to take risks; attributes that embody One & Co.

I can’t wait to catch a glance at the upcoming HTC smartphones! Don’t you?g
