Samsung is ready to launch a new version of the Instinct. This time we’re talking about the Instinct S50 codenamed Instinct HD. It looks like we’re seeing an awful lot of HD devices lately, wouldn’t you say? We have no idea when the phone is coming but it should be available pretty soon considering that it has already passed through the FCC with flying colors. The phone, also known as the m850 Dash should be available in Sprint stores at some point in the future and it will offer you EV-DO and Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi support, and a large enough screen to fulfill your HD dreams.
While we wait for more info, please feel free to enjoy the blurriness of the picture above.

Being hailed as the “true” successor to the Samsung Instinct instead of the S30, the m850 Dash is yet to give us an official peek, but that’s not stopping Zagg from spewing out a few protective covers for it under its invisibleSHIELD brand. While the scratch-proof, military-grade protective film will be great, what we are more interested in is how the Dash looks, which is evident by the picture they have put up to show off their wares. So, how do you like it? We still have no information on its specs though it would be safe to assume a touchscreen HVGA display and support for Sprint’s CDMA and EVDO networks. The Samsung m850 Dash is scheduled for a summer release, provided Sprint doesn’t have a change of heart to move it further.

Touted as the first navigation system with two-way internet connectivity, the Dash Express GPS unit is now available for pre-order. The device lets you select your route based on real-time traffic data that is automatically exchanged via other Dash devices. The Dash Express collects traffic info from the driver network, combines it with other sources of traffic info and gives you near-accurate info on your routes. And if a faster route is available, you get an instant alert.
Thanks to internet connectivity, you can use Yahoo Local search, giving you tons of points of interest. Among other neat features is the Send2Car feature. Just about the fastest way to send an address from your computer to the Dash Express unit, simply highlight an address from your web browser or Microsoft Outlook and send it directly to the GPS. This means, you can also have someone send an address remotely. No hassle of pulling out to the side of the road to enter an address!
The Dash Express features a 4.3-inch (diagonal) widescreen display offering 480×272 pixel resolution WQVGA TFT LCD. Weighing in at 13.3 oz, it has a life of up to 2 hours on the Li-ion battery. It supports Wi-Fi and GPRS as well.
Priced at US $599.99, the Dash Express is now available for pre-order. The Dash Service, on the other hand, costs $9.99/month for a 2-year plan.
