Dropping by the iTunes store will reveal a wide array of apps you can use for any purpose. As far as an app made for grocery and shopping, there is one that has become the “APPLE” of the eye of iTunes users in Flixoft’s Grocery Gadget Shopping List. And because of that, Apple has given recognition to this grocery gadget app, a favorite app even by Apple’s staff members.
And Flixoft can only strive to get better. In fact, they are planning to update the app with a scheduled release in the Grocery Gadget 2.1 by October. Updated version features include improved syncing capabilities, intelligent store and item coupons, units of measure, aisle creation per list and store, as well as an overall enhanced user interface.
Flixoft’s Grocery Gadget List App can be downloaded at the iTunes store for $4.99.

The success of any app depends on how much and how often it is downloaded. Now if within two weeks you find that your app has been downloaded 100,000 times, you know you have a gem of an app approved by iPhone owners.
Two weeks ago as posted by Chris, the Pizza Hut iPhone app was released. But no one ever thought it would be as hot as the pizza you would order. Can you imagine an app downloaded over 100,000 in that span?
This is proof that with the right strategy for the right market, you can really cover a larger area and serve your market better. And the app is not just about ordering pizza. The Pizza Hut iPhone app also comes with a slew of entertainment add-ons like a “Virtual Fridge” where you can get special coupons to add to you order and a game called “Pizza Hut Racer” which should keep you company while waiting for your pizza to be delivered.
