New Moon Countdown App for iPhones

Tired of relying on the rumors of when New Moon, the sequel to the much awaited Twilight movie, will actually be shown? Well look no further. Here is an iPhone app dedicated to the Twilight fanatics who want to be first to know when the actual big day of screening will actually be.

The app is not that sophisticated. It is actually a simple New Moon countdown app for iPhones and iPod Touch owners which counts down up to the very second of when New Moon will officially be shown. You can even get two editions, Team Edward and Team Jacob which come in different themes.

The app is available at the iTunes store for only $0.99

Now here is a new app that women will find handy. Keeping track of their menstrual period is important for some, especially those people who are into family planning. Women normally count the days before and after their period since they need to find out when it is safe or not and also to monitor some irregularities just in case they have biological problems.

With Period Tracker, women can now look forward to a better monitoring initiative via their iPhones. The design layout is simple where users can simply push a button to start logging and countdown to the next one.

A cute flower appears in the middle of the homepage when the app predicts that the user is “fertile” and ovulating. And a month view calendar helps the user see their cycles at a glance, while a notes page allows the user to enter daily notes to indicate if they have a “headache” or have been “intimate.”

“Period Tracker was the first app we ever came up with,” says Susan Lee of GP Apps. “We had been married for several months when I got my first iPhone and my husband brought up the crazy suggestion of making an iPhone app. Having been married so recently, we were still struggling to find a better way to keep track my periods, so we decided to create Period Tracker.”

The Period Tracker is now available at the iTunes App Store for $1.99.
