The Nikon Coolpix P6000 is a camera which knows GPS and geotagging besides taking photos. And it will surely shoot some decent photos at 13.5 megapixels wouldn’t you say?

Pictures will be embedded with altitude, longitude and latitude which will let you geotag pictures with a third party program. There’s also a LAN port which will let you quickly transfer photos to myPicturetown or your computer.

Nikon tapped into the “appeal” of PUNK’D host Ashton Kutcher to promote its COOLPIX camera line. The endorsement deal with Nikon would cover both print and TV advertisements, as well as interactive online component. Nikon’s ad campaign has a theme which centers around fashionable colors, great performance, simplicity, and exquisite styling. Nikon chose trendy and upscale boutiques and shopping destinations for the backdrop of the ads, hoping to superimpose yet blend the COOLPIX cameras with their surroundings.
