After all the controversies surrounding the iPorn app, bet you didn’t know that it servers hosting the server eventually got scorched! Well, apparently they did and with all the controversy tied up to it, the iPorn app for the iPhone or the iPod Touch has been pulled out over at the app store.

The app showcased 2,200 of the “Hottest Girls” which cost only $2 to download. But the decision to pull it out was not because of the server issue but more of some loose ends on the area of inappropriate content.

Apple will not distribute applications that contain inappropriate content. The developer of this application added inappropriate content directly from their server after the application had been approved and distributed, and after the developer had subsequently been asked to remove some offensive content. This was a direct violation of the terms of the iPhone Developer Program. The application is no longer available on the App Store

Days ago, I had posted something about an adult iPhone app called iPorn. While the launch alone seemed to carry some issues regarding this app, about 35,000 people users registered for this new app. And that was only 3 days ago!

With the iPorn app, users will be able to view thousands of free adult videos available for viewing. So you can imagine why many iPhone owners are now contemplating on upgrading to the iPhone 3S for better resolution. Adultvest investors are the chief backers of this app.

However, due to its nature, issues were not spared .

A planned afternoon appearance by the iPorn Girls on their horse-drawn carriage was abruptly cancelled when the San Francisco Police Dept threatened to revoke the carriage company’s license, even though a permit was granted. Then at 9 p.m., the completely packed Gold Club removed all iPorn banners, balloons and bikinis from the club citing pressure that was placed on them by a certain external party.

Here are some photos of the event. Don’t drool now!
