For the people who are using chargers for their phones, you can bet that a large number of them are using second class or replacement chargers rather than the genuine Nokia chargers. And while this does become a cost-friendly alternative, safety and quality are bound to be up for criticism. Nokia takes the initiative to offer a charger exchange program to protect consumers by providing them free authentic charger replacements.

Some of the hazards include exposure of the chargers which could cause problems such as electric shocks. However the exchange is limited to a certain scope of models (AC-3E, AC-3U and AC-4U). If you want to learn more about the program, you can check it out here.

The opportunity to save on buying a new mobile device such as a Blackberry may be somewhat stalled at times. And one main reason seen for this is the price for getting a new one. But if the tweets made by T-Mobile is accurate enough, you may just get a big break. Apparently there are reports that T-Mobile will be giving consumers up to a $50 off if they trade-in their old “working” phones and get a brand new Blackberry Curve.

There seems to be some confusion on what actual phones are included in this promotion. In fact, it seems that the promotion only offers a Blackberry Curve 8520. That was until T-Mobile posted a lot of current curve models tied up with it. But one thing is for sure, you will get a $50 off. So if you are aching to get a new Blackberry, here is your chance so I suggest you grab it!

  • If there is a Cash for Clunkers program, then surely there will be one made for the iPhone. And on that note, CashforiPhones.com is offering a practically similar deal, offering cash of up to $300 for used 2G or 3G iPhones which are in good condition or not.

Yes you heard it right. They are also buying broken iPhones for the same amount, a deal that other companies are surely going to find difficult equaling. The amount gotten from this exchange would be great for consumers in buying a new iPhone 3GS in the market.

Unlike other companies, CashforiPhones provides the pre-paid, insured shipping box and packing materials. Once the seller receives a quote at www.CashforiPhones.com, he or she can receive a check or even an instant Paypal deposit.

What happens to the traded-in phones? CashforiPhones refurbishes them and recycles them. They erase the existing memory (if it is working) and then refurbished for re-sale to wholesale recyclers.

Hallmark became popular for its greeting cards, much of which are still in use but have slowly gone passé. While we see a lot of their competitors turn to something similar, like e-cards and the like, Hallmark has adapted a new kind of technology in sending greetings to loved ones and friends. The new transition is the Hallmark Mobile Greeting Service which launched a couple of days ago.

For starters, the Hallmark Mobile Greetings will be made available to a handful of mobile phones in the market. But just like most apps, expect them to cater to most of the smartphones which can be sent from one mobile network to another.

The Hallmark Mobile Greetings can be downloaded to a cellphone for free from their site. Users can then send greetings to other mobile phones. In addition, consumers also can send greetings directly from mobile.hallmark.com for delivery to a mobile device.

Each Hallmark Mobile Greeting costs 99 cents. Fees are billed as part of monthly service-provider charges and the sender is only charged if the recipient opens the mobile greeting.
