In less than 10 minutes you will be able to watch U2 perform live on YouTube. The show starts at 8:30PM PT and anyone will be able to tune in and watch it. Well, almost anyone will be able to watch it as YouTube will make it available officially to only 16 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Korea, Spain, U.K. and the USA. But don’t worry, your country might also get it so don’t forget to tune in! The show is being streamed from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California and we don’t need any tickets. It’s not going to be the first event streamed to the iPhone but it’s still worth mentioning. British techno duo Underworld is the band in question and its concert from Oakland California was streamed straight to those interested iPhones out there. This was probably the first live event streamed to the iPhone and the technology employed was the iPhone OS 3.0’s HTTP streaming and the Quicktime player. Have you virtually attended the concert?
