On top of the laptop that Sony announced today, there is another cool device named VAIO L that belongs in the category of “touchscreen PCs”. This cool computer is available in different models, with the cheapest being a 2.7GHz Pentium dual-core processor with 4GB of RAM, and a hard-drive of 320GB, plus a DVD writer and a GeForce G210M as the graphics card - this low-end model costs approximately $1,300-
The other top-notch models come with a 2.66GHz Core 2 Quad processor, and 6GB of RAM, plus 1TB on the hard-drive, and instead of a DVD writer it has a Blu-ray drive, and a better graphics card which is the GeForce GT 240M. You can already pre-order a Sony VAIO L, but the shipping will only start on November.

Call me old-fashioned but I am happy with just an USB mouse attached to my laptop. Some people on the other hand would like something more exciting connected to their computer, like a chainsaw for example. What would you do with it that’s really beside the point. What matters is that the i.Saw is both cool and dangerous at the same time. Just crazy enough to impress your friends! Would you get one? Is it even legal for people to sell it as a computer accessory? Well it looks like it is. For $59.95 + shipping and handling you’re going to have this baby shipped to any address in the world this September.

Sprint Nextel appears to have lowered the price of their Phone as Modem add on plans to $15 per month. That’s a huge $35 drop from the initial $50 per month fee. That’s quite a good deal or certainly a better one than what Sprint had running before.
In order to qualify for it you’ll have to abide by some rules. First of all you will need to own a Power Vision phone which can be tethered to a computer. Then you should get a data plan if you didn’t have one, just so you have the data to tether. Keep in mind that Sprint has a 5GB monthly data usage limit and a 300MB off-network limit in place and don’t go overboard too often.
