The military has its own needs as far as navigation and positioning when duty calls and Rockwell Collins now releases a new handheld GPS receiver with the MicroDAGR. The MicroDAGR hand-held GPS is actually smaller version of the Defense Advanced GPS Receiver (DAGR), carrying security and durability in the most rugged conditions. It provides real-time positioning moving maps via the full-color touch screen display and can be easily worn by wrist. Other features included in the MicroDAGR are a vibration alert, MP3 player and a digital camera.

The much awaited Treo Pro smartphone will be available for use on the Sprint Mobile Network starting March 15. This was announced today by Sprint and Palm Inc.
