All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

Back in May, Boost Mobile let us know that they would be picking up the QWERTY touting Motorola i465 Clutch. It’s nothing special but for those looking for a perfect prepaid texting handset, the i465 isn’t a bad choice.

Well today, more than 2 months after said phone dropped, Boost has announced that the i465 will begin shipping next Tuesday with a new black paintjob (or Graphite if you want to be official about it).

In terms of pricing, you’re looking at $129.99 for the Motorola i465 Clutch, but it’s without a contract, so it makes sense.

Coinciding with the launch of the Motorola Clutch i465 phone boasting of a full QWERTY keyboard is the Clutch Combo Deal that carries an “Monthly Unlimited” service covering calls, text, wireless web and walkie-talkie service for only $50. Now that is a deal that people are sure to want especially now that we are all looking for great deals to help budget our needs.

“Motorola Clutch is a terrific addition to our diverse handset line-up. If you like to text as much as you talk, this is the device for you,” said Neil Lindsay, chief marketing officer, Boost Mobile. “Boost Mobile offers a full suite of solutions for every customer with a range of handsets to choose from and budget-friendly, dependable services such as our $50 Monthly Unlimited plan.”

The deal is something that any mobile phone owner would ream off. And with this new Motorola Clutch i465 being the pioneer of this special promo, expect it to grow as well as the “Service Unlimited Phone” to have which people are definitely going to avail.

Motorola Clutch i465 from Boost Mobile is available now at www.boostmobile.com with free shipping for the price of $129.99 with no contract, credit check or hidden fees. Following the online launch, the Clutch i465 will be available through various other Boost Mobile retail and distribution channels.

The Motorola Clutch i465, the first iDEN cellphone to feature a QWERTY keypad, is now available from Boost Mobile.  The official announcement in early May pointed to a release some time in June, but we are not complaining that it was released a few days earlier.  $129.99 will get you the Clutch and its 1.8-inch screen, VGA camera, GPS, and an easy way to start texting/emailing.  Not much to go on there but a decent handset nonetheless for its price.  Go on and get it from Boost Mobile if you like it.
