All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

If rumors are true, Verizon Wireless may be coming out with another mobile phone with the LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 this October. Originally posted by Dax a couple of days ago, the LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 carries an entirely different look compared to the much publicized LG Chocolate BL40. Most of the striking features were already covered in that post although one rumored addition was the presence of a drum pad and keyboard. With this add-on, people can whip up their own beats!

The features laid out for the LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 are indeed tempting to consider. And most of the features can be finally verified come October 18 once Verizon officially rolls out the phone. No word on the retail price though.

  • The name Chocolate Touch has been popping up from time to time via leaked roadmaps and other sources, but we couldn’t get you some pics of the device, until now that is. And we also have some information on the mysterious device, including the fact that among the two prototypes (one of which was modeled around the lovable BL40) presented to a “focus group,” the design you see above turned out to be the winner, which should dampen any hopes that you will see a BL40 or a BL40-esque handset anytime soon on Verizon. The Chocolate Touch will feature a WVGA TFT touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, HTML browser, and a 3.5mm standard headphone jack. Now, there isn’t much going for the LG VX8575 compared to the other leaked handsets set for a debut on Verizon later this year, but let’s wait and see if it has any surprises hidden when they make it official.
