Looking to pick up a Palm Pre but still haven’t done so perhaps you should head over to Walmart as they are holding a great deal for the phone. As you can see from the above screenshot Walmart will now be offering the Palm Pre for just $79.99 with a new 2-year contract.
This compares with Sprint’s Palm Pre price tag of $149.99 after a 2-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate. $70 savings? Count me in.

Earlier today we showed you the HTC Click, a handset for those wanting to get a taste of Android without breaking the bank. You could certainly make out a few features of the phone in the previous picture, but it was nothing special.
Now, however, another picture of the device has appeared on a Vietnamese message board in full resolution clearing showing off the front of the phone. As you can see, there are some Android-esque buttons on the front so it’s almost definite this thing will in fact ship with Android.
When and at what price point remains a mystery.

Hop-On’s disposable cell phones have already made it to the European market and it was only a matter of time before they made an appearance stateside. Well, it’s here now and it’s dirt cheap. $10 will get you the display-less, 77-gram HOP1800 which will work on over 40 US GSM carriers including the likes of Cingular, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Hop-On’s Graffiti Wireless. In addition to this, Hop-On offers a rebate of $5 on the cell phones returned for recycling. The front of the phone has a tactile numeric keypad with Braille markings and the missing display is replaced by what seems like a speakerphone. With its 600 mAh Li-ion battery, the HOP1800 is able to provide up to 4 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby.
Go ahead and grab one at your nearest convenience store if you are looking for a cheap or a temporary alternative for your calling needs.
