You’d think this is just another iPhone case and you woudn’t be that wrong. But the truth is that this Pong case for iPhones has something special. It looks like the Pong Research Company has been looking into various ways to reduce radiation coming from the antenna and found an answer. The case is made from tight silicone skin. The skin has some kind of technology module in it designed to draw energy away from your head without sacrificing signal strength. The case costs $59.95 and BlackBerry owners are also going to get Pong cases soon.
And in case you need some numbers to crunch before deciding to get your Pong case, according to FCC testing the radiation levels are lower by up to 60% and hotspot cell phone radiation are lower by 85% when using the case. Happy now?

A whole slew of pictures featuring Chinese-made iPod touch/nano cases have hit the web. This may seem like nothing exciting but they are reportedly cases for Apple’s next-generation devices.
As you can see from the above pictures, both MP3 players will feature cameras with the touch’s being centered while the nano’s is a bit offset.
While Apple hasn’t actually confirmed that their next-gen iPods will have cameras, why would these case-makers go through all of this trouble if they weren’t positive? Take it with a grain of salt, but this one’s pretty much confirmed.
Hit the read link for pictures of more cases.

Don’t get too excited folks but it seems that the fifth generation iPod nano is going to be unveiled sometime in September. And while we have no official details coming from the Cupertino-based company, we stumbled upon this protective silicon case which was designed for the iPod nano 5G. As you can clearly see the case reveals the camera location of the future iPod. The case appears to have been specifically designed for the nano 5G although we can’t confirm the validity of the picture here. We should assume though that more cases and leaked pictures of the iPod nano 5G are going to appear around the web if Apple is indeed to launch a new nano so stick around for more rumors!

I wonder if the EXOvault will stop a bullet!

The iPhone 3G had a problem with their back cracking with seemingly no reason and now the iPhone 3GS has run into a similar problem, this time with discoloration.
It seems that one user discovered his iPhone 3GS was overheating, a lot, due to him using the phone’s GPS nad 3G capabilities. This is all fine but and dandy (well, not really) but after the overheating he discovered that the back of his white iPhone was slightly discolored.
We’re not sure if this is an isolated instance or a wide spread problem. But either way Apple is sure to provide users plagued with this problem an alternate phone. Anyone else experiencing this?

This goes to prove that it’s only human to be lazy while you’re supposed to be working. Some Best Buy employee in charge of updating the online store managed to pull off this amazing stunt. According to the screenshot above, Best Buy is selling Palm Pre cases for only $24.99. Unfortunately the iPod is not included as it’s sold separately. How did this happen?
Well, what’s important is that it made people laugh and that’s always nice. On a different note, I’m not exactly convinced that the iPod touch fits perfectly with a Pre case, but then again I might be awfully wrong and maybe Best Buy does bundle Pre cases with iPods…

The phone in the picture here is an iPhone wearing a matte black case as opposed to the regular glossy black the iPhone 3G has. The case feature a model number, A1303 and it has all the FCC markings you’d expect it to have. Is it an official picture? Is it photoshopped? Is this A1303 model the next-gen iPhone? We’re only in February so there’s plenty of room for rumors until June when everyone will be waiting for an official updated iPhone.

mStation has added yet another case for Apple’s best-selling phone, the iPhone 3G. As with the previous versions, the new Juice Pack Air can help protect your second-gen iPhone, while juicing it up to provide an additional 20 hours of audio, a whopping 6 hours of video, and 4.5 hours of talktime. With mophie’s claim that the Juice Pack Air is the “world’s thinnest” external battery for the iPhone 3G, you can definitely forget your worries of adding more bulk to your cell phone. The Juice Pack Air can simultaneously recharge when connected via USB, thanks to its innovative pass-through design, and the 4 LEDs act as indicators for the battery status. There is also a standby mode where it can be used just as a protective case or as a powerpump for additional battery power.
Look for it this spring in an Apple Store near you or preorder it at mStation mophie’s website and with just $79.95 as its price tag, this should defitinely fit any iPhone lover’s pocket.

Why on earth would you like to get a MacBook case all out of wood? I mean sure, I am pro-eco-friendly stuff as any other average guy, but do we really need to hide those aluminum cases from everyone’s eyes? Not to mention the extra weight that wood adds to your backpack. Sure it will get you some extra protection but who will attack your Mac with an axe? And if we’re considering extreme scenarios, won’t the case catch fire?
These designs are custom crafted for 13-inch and 15-inch MacBooks and MacBooks Pro. At least they will probably fit really well with the wooden case made out of scrabble tiles which we’ve shown you two days ago.

Just a couple of days ago we were showing you an inventory listing of XSKN which refered to the iPhone nano. The case maker is back again in the news and this time it comes with photos. XSKN has actually started taking in orders. A case costs from $25 o $27. Pretty expensive for a product that doesn’t exist!
Is the iPhone nano coming or what? XSKN says it is coming while Apple doesn’t say anything!

The iPhone nano sounds like a good idea but we tend to believe the rumors surrounding it to be simply unreliable so far. We’ve seen the iPhone nano appear in various versions around the Internet for a while now, but nobody had solid proof that Apple was indeed working on a smaller phone
Don’t expect to see any “leaked” pictures today. We have no photoshopped iPhone nanos to show you. What we do have is an “iPhone nano” entry on a case manufacturers site. Case manufacturers have alwas been previously involved in revealing future designs of upcoming gadgets. And they are always good sources of information because, well, they do make the cases for those upcoming gadgets. This time it’s XSKN the designer that has the iPhone nano in its inventory.
Is 2009 the year Apple will launch the iPhone nano? We’ll be there to tell you more!

The Carbon Fiber iPhone 3G Case is made by DRO Concepts, and is suppose to be used by the people that want to stand out from the rest. It combines a good style, and also a good protection, which in the end makes it worth the $85.
The case uses 4 layers of carbon fiber making it pretty strong, and has a scratch resistant gloss finish. It doesn’t interfere with the iPhone’s design because it is very thin, and unlike other cases, you can still control the Apple cellphone easily. Inside the package you can find a microfiber cloth to polish the case, and a D-Shield anti-static screen guard.
The Carbon Fiber iPhone 3G from DRO Concepts is available in real carbon, or on silver texalium.

What do you think this is, a radio? See the small ports down there? A modem? An external storage device? Well it’s another Jeffrey Stephenson case modification featuring a 400 Firewire port, a 1.6GHz processor, 4GB DDR2 RAM memory, a VIA VB8001 motherboard and 64GB SSD storage
But no matter what other technical specs I might give you the fact is, the case is an Ingraham original. You can’t really get your hands that easily on one of those. So how much for this PC mod?
